Lake Langano
The lake is 18 kilometers long and 16 kilometers wide, with a surface area of 230 square kilometers and a maximum depth of 46 meters. Swimming, mountain climbing, biking, fishing and photography area of square kilometers and a maximum depth of 46 meters are activities that are mainly done by tourists.
Abijatta-Shalla Lakes National Park
The park covers an area of 8,875 SQR. And peak altitude in the park is at mount Fike, which can give you the panoramic view of the lake Abijata, Shala and Langano. The park is well known for its large numbered variety of wetlands and dry birdlife. There are 452 registered bird species, out of these 140 of them are migratory or flying guests from Europe, Asia and other parts of Africa.
Hippo
Hippos are water-loving animals and are sited to hold they spend up to 16 hours a day in rivers and lakes and emerge to the surface to keep their massive bodies cool under the hot.
